Ministree
Quantcast

Pastor Freda Clemons has been singing with the group Ministree for over 15 years.
She is the present Pastor of Renewed Destiny Kingdom Ministries of Westland, Pa. and has been the Dean of the School of Ministerial Studies @ Solid Rock Foundation Ministries in Carnegie, Pa.   Freda graduated from Shiloh Bible Institute, Washington, Pa. with a Diploma in Ministerial Studies in 1998.
She has been employed by DPW's Mayview State Hospital in the Forensic Department for over 22 years Pastor Clemons has  3 children, 1 son-in-law and 2 beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys just being who God has called her to be....a true worshipper.

Zanetta L. Wingfield is the daughter of Reverends Melvin and Geraldine Wilson. They noticed her vocal gift when she was very young and fostered the environment which was necessary for that gift to flourish. She rendered her first solo, "Jesus Loves Me", at the age of five and she has been lifting up her voice in praise ever since.  Over the years she has been blessed to participate in various musical opportunities such as: school and community plays, college chorus, choir director, soloist, and member of a European tour group, praise and worship leader and finally as a member of MINISTREE.It is through her experience in MINISTREE that she has learned the difference between singing and ministering. The wonderful God that she serves, has partnered her with four women that she loves as sisters and who have added immeasurably to her life and her spiritual walk.  She is blessed to be the wife of Rev. Anthony Wingfield, who is an accomplished musician in his own right. He has been a constant support and teaching influence in her life in every way; and they enjoy serving together to minister in song.  She is so thankful for having been raised in a Christian home so she would have the chance to discover her gift and to know what purpose it serves. For her, singing is her praise to God which she offers to Him whether she is singing before a crowded church, or while standing over the kitchen sink. Every time she sings, the intended result is to turn the hearts and thoughts of the hearers to Jesus Christ. She seeks to please Him with every note and believes that God will forever keep a song in her heart and on her lips.

Rev. Cheryl Jones-Ross makes her home in Bridgeville Pa., where she lives with her husband Frank Ross.  They have 3 children, Brandon, Tyonna, Carl, and a son-in-law, Matthew and grandbaby Kaeden.  Cheryl began singing early in life with her sister Joyce and brother Larry, and loved to entertain their families with songs and dances that they would make up.  She began singing with a group that evolved into present day "Ministree" in the early 80's and continues to write and produce original songs for Ministree. Cheryl is an Evangelist out of St. John Baptist Church in Lawrence, Pa., where her pastors are Reverends Melvin and Geraldine Wilson and a graduate of Shiloh Bible Institute, Washington, Pa.    "I thank God for the opportunity to be used by Him in this music "Ministree". I  am awed that He has chosen me to be connected to such a powerful group of women who are ready to take the world for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord".

Joyce Wilson is married to a preacher's kid, so it's no surprise that God has called her into ministry.

Having grown up in Sunday School and church and accepting the Lord in her early twenties, God has continued to grow her.  She, along with one of her sisters and brother, recently graduated from bible school, each with Diplomas of Ministerial Studies.  Joyce is active in her local church (of which her father and mother-in-laws are the pastors), teaches, does volunteer work helping the needy in her surrounding communities, while raising one elementary and two college-aged sons. She, along with sister, Cheryl, have been singing for "some time"  together. Although she sings in the church choir, of which she at one time directed, on the church's Praise Team and with "Ministree", she mostly enjoys the "ministering"--the helping people. "A minister is not a title.  Ministering is serving -- like a waiter.  One of the most important requirements, I believe, God wants us to have is availability.  God heard a-l-l-l-l of Moses excuses when He called him.  But He did not get angry with Moses until Moses said to send someone else (Gen. 3-4:14).  There is much work to be done in the Kingdom--enough for all of us.  God needs us to be available to do WHATEVER He needs us to do WHENEVER He needs us."

Tonya T. Gilbert is a native of Pittsburgh, PA with a burden for lost souls, particularly youth. She currently serves at Cornerstone Baptist Church in East Liberty, PA, under the leadership of Rev. John A. Knight. She has embraced her leadership role with zeal as Youth Bible Study Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Choir Director, and Worship leader. Tonya’s gift to sing was first recognized by her Father, who began training her voice at a very early age. It was at thirteen years of age, that she gave her life to Christ and began singing in the church choir. Even as a young girl, she knew that God would someday use her gift for "His Glory". It was then she made up her mind to never lend her talent to the secular world. In her early twenties, her fire for God and love for Praise and Worship gained momentum under the powerful leadership and anointing of Dr. Gilbert Vaughn and Bishop Corletta Vaughn at the Holy Ghost Cathedral in Detroit, Michigan. Over the years, she has had the privilege of ministering with groups such as: The Rudy Hawkins Singers in Detroit, MI and Pittsburgh Love Outreach under the direction of Trini Massie. She also participated as a soloist in the 2005 "Black Nativity" production in Pittsburgh, PA. Tonya is the proud mother of Mark Elijah, 8 and Naomi 5. Her husband of 10 years, Mark Gilbert, has been a great support and major influence in her ministry. Her statement of faith comes from Acts 17:28, "For in Him we live and move and have our being".
